Reviews and Ratings
I had a lovely stay at the hotel, with beautiful but expensive rooms overlooking landscaped gardens. The service was helpful despite language barriers. The location was remote but stunning amongst breathtaking rock formations. Dining was surprisingly good with a variety of options. The facilities were top-notch, making for a luxurious experience.
The hotel offers spacious and lovely rooms with a beautiful bathroom and extremely comfortable bed, but struggled to cool down below 25-26°C. The lack of hot water was disappointing. The service was very accommodating and friendly, tailoring services to our needs. The location was elegant, situated along the Li river with breathtaking views, but lacked nearby amenities for snacks and shopping. The dining options were varied and good, with some outdoor seating. Overall, a pleasant stay with some room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable. The rooms were lovely, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The resort was perfect for a family vacation yet had a romantic vibe. The location, surrounded by stunning mountains and lush vegetation, was breathtaking. The dining options were diverse and satisfying, and the facilities were top-notch.
The hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms with the famous dish Beer Fish. The rooms are furnished with a lot of love, creating a pure feeling upon entering. The Western-style bathrooms are well-appointed with a large tub, separate shower, and excellent amenities. The service is attentive and helpful, although lacking the standards expected of a 5-star hotel. The location is magnificent, overlooking a large river and beautiful Karst mountains. The dining options are surprisingly good, with a wide selection of dishes. The facilities provided are really good with a variety of choices.
The hotel is located in a stunning area by the Li river between two Karst mountains in Yangshuo Banyan Tree, offering a beautiful setup. The rooms, while of good enough quality akin to Banyan Tree standards, tended to get a bit warmer than I prefer for sleeping, reaching around 27 degrees. The service was pleasant with staff being polite and helpful, however not fully up to the standards one might expect from an International Forum 5-star hotel like Banyan Tree. The dining experience was delightful with a varied selection including bonus treats like complimentary prosecco and a chocolate fountain. The picturesque location is a major highlight, set in the Yanhshuo area right across the bank of the Li river and facing a mountain range, creating a truly beautiful environment.
I couldn't ask for a better location for a cozy stay right by the Li river. The rooms had that romantic feel to them, but the lack of hot water did put a damper on things. The views of the beautiful grounds were an added bonus, though.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were very nice and spacious, featuring a western-style bathroom with a large tub, separate shower, and excellent amenities. The villa I stayed in was really spacious with a lovely view and a balcony, making it a cozy retreat. The service was excellent, with caring, polite, and professional staff who truly made me feel welcome. The location was magnificent, surrounded by Karst mountains and lush vegetation, creating a truly breathtaking setting. The dining experience was okay, offering a wide range of food, including local delicacies. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
My stay at the hotel was exceptional. The rooms were spacious and beautifully designed, with a lovely balcony overlooking the landscaped gardens. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff always ready to assist. The location offered stunning views of the Karst mountains, although getting around with an umbrella was a bit tricky at times. The dining experience was delightful, offering a variety of Chinese and Western options. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.
My stay at the hotel was lovely and comfortable, with beautifully spacious rooms and a must-try dish, Beer fish. The Chinese decor and architecture added to the charm, although it did get a bit warmer than I prefer for sleeping.
The hotel rooms were clean and spacious, decked out with child-friendly amenities; however, they would not cool down below 25-26 degrees, slightly warmer than ideal for a comfortable sleep. The service was lovely, extremely helpful, and efficient, accommodating our needs promptly. The location was magnificent, with breathtaking views of the Karst mountains and the Li River. The dining experience was wonderful, offering a diverse combination of Chinese and Western items. The facilities provided were top-notch and ensured a pleasant stay.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, designed with lovely Chinese decor away from the lobby along the river bank, were of Banyan Tree quality, offering a unique and cozy atmosphere. The service staff, while friendly and cheerful, seemed unfamiliar with the standards expected from a luxury brand like Banyan Tree. The location, although stunning right by the Li river and a mountain range, was a bit far from the city. The dining experience exceeded expectations with a wide selection of high-quality dishes. The facilities provided a satisfying stay overall.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, with beautiful bathrooms and high-quality linens. The service was caring, polite, and professional despite a minor hiccup with a birthday surprise. The location was absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by the majestic Karst mountains and lush vegetation. The dining experience exceeded my expectations with a wide selection of high-quality options. The facilities were top-notch, making my stay even more enjoyable.
The room was beautiful and spacious, with a luxurious bathroom and an incredibly comfy bed, but the lack of hot water was a major letdown. The hotel's famous Beer fish dish is a must-try, adding a unique touch to the experience.
The hotel offers beautiful rooms with lovely Chinese decor and architecture, suitable for a family vacation or a romantic getaway. While the resort is wonderful and family-friendly, the disappointment lies in the lack of hot water and the expensive pricing ranging from $400 to $1,000 per night, breakfast included.
I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room had a cosy, romantic feel to it with a beautiful bathroom and an extremely comfortable bed, although the sound of a jet cleaning machine outside was a bit disruptive. The service was impressive, with attentive waiters and waitresses who tailored the menu to suit our Western/Chinese group. The location was magnificent, surrounded by Karst mountains and lush vegetation. The dining experience was abundant and satisfying, especially with the complimentary prosecco and chocolate fountain. Overall, a great value for money option with a few minor room temperature issues.
